Original music and sound design was created for a promotional film showcasing the Audiowear collection from designers Arjen Noordeman and Christie Wright. This collection of musical jewelry was inspired by idiophone and aerophone instruments and the acoustic quality of clay. Noordeman and Wright had recorded single note samples of the jewelry pieces for their projcet archive. I took these short samples, identified their pitch and created full virtual instruments that were then used exclusively to compose the “Audiowear Theme” music for the film.
The Audiowear collection was featured in the Museum of Art and Design’s “Sonic Arcade” exhibition in 2017.
